Description: 6-inch diameter tin disc with enamel portrait of Martha Lodge and an unidentified child. The image appears to be colored by hand. Lodge is sitting, wearing a dress with a hoop skirt. The child is standing next to her wearing an off the shoulder red dress. Lodge's dress dates this image to the 1860's, though the object and process may date it earlier.
