Description: 1/6th plate tintype of Mary Jane Sproul sitting on a wooden chair in a brass frame. Her hair is pulled back and secured with a tinted bow. There is tinting in her cheeks as well. She is wearing a gingham dress and her elbow rests on a blanket covered studio table. Mary Jane was the daughter of Roxanne King and John Sproul, and sister to Clara Belle Ivancovich.
